INDEPENDENCE DAY
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour and devotion at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Jhargram on 15th August 2025. The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem, invoking a deep sense of pride and unity among all present.

Our Swamijis, teachers, and students gathered to pay tribute to the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and vibrant patriotic songs by our students reflected the spirit of freedom and national pride.

The celebration served as a reminder of our duties towards the nation and the importance of living by the ideals of truth, service, and self-discipline — values deeply ingrained in the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda. It was a day of remembrance, pride, and reaffirmation of our commitment to build a better, united India.
