The Inner Wheel Club of Calcutta Organized Inauguration Ceremony
On the occasion of Earth Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Central Calcutta organized a meaningful and heartwarming inauguration ceremony for Classes 1, 2, 3, and 4 at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Jhargram. The event was held on April 22, 2025, and was attended by students, teachers, members of the Inner Wheel Club, and other dignitaries.
The ceremony commenced with the chanting of Vedic mantras and a brief welcome address by the Headmaster of the Vidyapith. The President of the Inner Wheel Club of Central Calcutta, Madam Mamta Gupta, inaugurated the newly prepared classrooms for Classes 1 to 4, highlighting the club’s ongoing commitment to education and social welfare.
As a tribute to Earth Day, the event also included a tree-plantation drive in the school premises. Students enthusiastically took part in planting saplings and learned about the importance of environmental conservation. The club also donated educational materials, classroom furniture, and eco-friendly supplies, further enhancing the learning environment for young students.This initiative by the Inner Wheel Club of Central Calcutta stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between educational institutions and community organizations in nurturing both education and environmental consciousness among the younger generation.
